The purpose of Primal Connection is to increase the understanding between animals and humans.   

 

The sessions are conducted by Carisa, who sees herself as a bridge between animals and humans.  

From a young age on Carisa was drawn to animals and lost or injured cats often found their way to her. She considered making working with animals her career but after an internship at a vet's clinic decided that this was not the path for her. 20 years later she faced huge difficulties with a rescue dog her family had adopted where the advice of dog trainers felt never quite right and made no difference. A neighbour suggested engaging the help of an Animal Communicator, something she had never heard of. Desperate for help, she was willing to try anything and booked a session despite her skepticism. This communication session made the single biggest impact on her relationship with her dog. While his deep seated behavior issues were never resolved, understanding the dog better improved their relationship immensely. Intrigued, Carisa booked sessions for her other animals and eventually decided to learn speaking to them herself.

Carisa has taken several animal communication courses, both intensive in-person classes, and online classes from a variety of teachers, and is a graduate of the Master Program of Marta Willams. She has developed her own style, often intuitively including Reiki sessions for the animal, in which she is trained to personal mastery level. After she started to offer sessions to animal guardians in her social circle to practice she got quickly recommended by word of mouth, leading to Primal Connection. Living in an international context she is often engaged for animals that are moving overseas and she has developed a  process supporting animals through international moves. She sees this as her specialty together with longer crisis support. Carisa prefers to develop a deep bond with animals and accompany them over a longer period of time to create lasing change.
